The winner of Round 2 of the Shimla Motorcycle Challenge, Yogesh Lakhani from Chandigarh, pelting on the gravel section. Yogesh was not riding fast in this round, he was flying low, and in a league of his own. He was the only rider to break the 9 minute barrier, with a scorching fastest time of 8.46 minutesRound 2
Parminder Thakur from Shimla, a rider I admire, and a driver Gaurav Gill compliments. He was riding his RX100 absolutely to the limit, flat out. He stood third Overall and in Group C. This boy has the skill and the attitude to make it to the top, in both 2-wheel and 4-wheel versions. Here he is blazing the fastest gravel downhill stage time.Round 2
Piyush Chauhan, from Shimla again. The winner of the Himachal category, in both rounds. He is leading the Championship in his category with a comfortable 20 points from 2 wins. In Round 2, Piyush was faster than the winner of the open Group D category too, making him the fastest Group D rider in the Championship with a time of 9.37 minutesRound 2
Rajan Sidhu from Ludhiana, placed overall second in Round 2 and the winner of Round 1. Rajan tried hard to overcome the challenge thrown by Yogesh Lakhani in this round, but had to settle for second position with a lap time of 9.12 minutes.Round 2
Sanjay Kumar Sharma from Jammu, the winner of Group D Open astride a Yamaha 135. SMC was the first motor sport event Sanjay ever participated in, and he is currently leading the Group D Open Championship with 15 points. Well done Sanjay!Round 2

Vivek Sharma from Delhi. This was just Vivek's third event and a testament to his riding talent is his 3rd position finish in Group D Open, riding a Karizma. An experienced tourer, it seems Vivek has found a new calling in his riding life!Round 2
