Does this mean that you guys have fopund urself a sponsor allready .... coz if yes then maybe you can get him to spend on 4 rounds !! One every quarter ;-) .....

Hahahaa!! No, no Khaadu, how I wish your words come true mate... the reality is that 50% of the budget for the 4 SMC rounds conducted in 2008 was actually put in by members of the club from their pockets!!  So it's those guys who are highly likely to go bankrupt in 4 more rounds..

Sponsorship is becoming a pain to get man, and in the wrong place. The current recession is not helping and everyone is shying away for the time being, you know that motor sport is anyways last on anyone's list...

Hey Khaadu, you know of any good event management chappy in Delhi?? ..one who will understand what we do and not try to make a 'paharia' out of us?

My vote is for 2 rounds.
3 rounds can be done if the club gets good sponsors.
IMO 4 rounds irrespective of sponsorship issues will be a very big strain on all involved.
Just my 2 cents..

True Vaibhav, in fact my thought process is heading towards a single big event...with the current sponsorship scenario..  Everyone is desperate for events, and everyone wants us to do as many as we can.. but financial realities need to be met...everyone also needs to conserve and hold positions currently...We all are after all volunteers, primarily.. somehow managing to take out time from out daily hectic lives to get these events going. If the economic feasibility does not hold, the events do not happen.. it unfortunately is as simple as that.

Let's see if the situation improves, but it is looking rather grim at the moment..

At least 2 rounds sir,but in case you get good sponsers then the no of rounds can be increased.
SMC is gaining popularity from the last event so as i think there should be atleast 2 round for more riders to be attracted.
